Library Renovation Project Donations

The Meadowbrook Parent-School Association decided to try something new this year as our primary source of fundraising. Rather than having students sell products, we are simply asking for cash donations.
Funds in the past have been used for a variety of enhancements to the students’ school experience, such as field trip transportation, digital subscriptions such as SeeSaw and Moby Max, and special events such as Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, and the End of Year Carnival as well as much, much more. While we will continue to fund these expenditures, we are devoting our attention to the library remodel project, which began last school year. On average, a student would have to sell $200 worth of product only to have $20 of that actually go back to the school. If every family simply donated $25, we would raise $10,000, which would be enough to fund “Phase 2” of the library renovation project. In this phase, we will be providing funding for flexible seating options for the students. More so, if every family contributed $75, the library renovation would be completely done by THIS YEAR rather than the projected 3-year timeline, as there is still much more to be done beyond the addition of better seating options for the students. Please keep in mind that if you truly miss going door to door to sell products, you and your child are more than welcome to continue on with this tradition – just ask for donations for the school! No matter where the funds comes from, please only send in checks made payable to “Meadowbrook PSA." We will accept them at any time throughout the school year. If you would like a donation receipt, please e-mail the PSA at [email protected] so we can provide that to you. Every dollar counts, so please give generously and help us to make this the easiest, yet most profitable, fundraising effort yet! |
